History: L is known as the greatest detective for his gand deduction skills. He grew up in the Wammy's House as an orphan so he and Watari share a father and son relationship. L is also an insomniac that cant swallow anything that isnt filled with sugar and always sits with his knees to his chin.
Personality: Childishly logical... i think that cover it all.
Likes: Sugar
Dislikes: Socks apparently... and sweet-and-low. He hates sweet-and-low.

Sample Role Play: "Thank you, Watari." L said gratefully as Watari left the room. Watari had given him a box and told L to open it the next day on Halloween. L wasn't surprized, since Halloween was his birthday. 'Its obvious its a bithday cake' L thought as he took it to the refrigerator.
The next day, on Halloween, L got out of his computer chair and headed to his "dessert". He took the box and opened it slowly, already tasting the frosting. However, to his surprize, L saw nothing but a note which said:

Dear L,
I will no longer be apart of your never-ending mission to consume the most sugar in the world!

History:Light Yagami is the first Kira, and is the one who starts killing criminals. However, no one knows of this, and he keeps up the charade of being just a smarter than average high school student who happens to be th son of a police chief.
Personality:Light is seemingly kind, caring, and all around a good person at first glance. However beneath this, he is a power-hungry megalomaniac out to rebuild the world in the image of himself.
Likes:A successful plan, The Death Note, bringing criminals to justice
Dislikes:Anyone who attempts to stop his plans, being thwarted, when Ryuk acts annoying.

Sample Role Play:Light let's out a cold laugh as he writes down yet another name in the Death Note, this one another subject of his experiments to see what the Death Note can do. He writes down that the prisoner will escape the prison he is being kept in and then be killed by wild animals. He smirks as he watches his TV screen to see if he was successful. A news bulliten states that the prisoner managed to escape but was killed when he tresspassed into the territory of a pack of wolves that had escaped from a nearby zoo. He chuckles coldly before cutting off the Tv and heading to his bed, tommorow was a school day, and he had experimented enough for now.

History: Kurisu grew up with a strict moral code and an ideal that justice is something that is to be carried out by the proper authorities, as a result of his parents, who were both employed in law enforcement. But as the years dragged on he began to sadly realize that the law is inadequate and less than legal actions needed to be performed to achieve true justice. He joined the police force when he was twenty, He rose through the ranks and now holds the rank of Captain. He has had unanimous praise for his excellent detective skills, apparently being good enough to land a spot on the Kira Investigation Team, no one knowing the dark fact that he occasionally bends the law to achieve proper justice
Personality: Is deadly serious almost all of the time, is cold and hollow to anybody he doesn't consider a friend or colleague and isn't afraid to bend the law to catch a criminal.

Sample Role Play: Kurisu entered his office at the police station located in Osaka. He started cleaning some blood off his knuckles, a criminal wouldn't give him the information he needed, so Kurisu turned the guy's nose into a fountain for blood. The criminal had quickly changed his mind and gave him the evidence he desired, a gun with fingerprints all over it, decisive evidence that will no doubt put a scum murderer behind bars.

After washing off the blood on his hands he turned to his computer and began looking at the local news. A headline read "Criminal punished by Kira hours before trial." Kurisu read the article, a feeling of anger began setting in as he finished it. The very same crook that he broke a man's nose to put behind bars, the crook who did not get the see the grieving widow and two children of the man he killed in cold blood as he got slammed with a sentence, was just apparently killed by Kira.

History: Matt is ranked 3rd at Wammy's, only out ranked by Near and Mello. He is very close to Mello and assists him multiple times in the Kira case by doing surveillance work and/or by finding out information on certain people such as Misa Amane.
Personality: Matt seems to not care about much of anything other than his video games and his lap top, although he is friends with Mello he rarely shows affection.
Likes: Matt is extremely fond of video games and cigarettes
Dislikes: waking up early, eating healthy, not having his psp or cigarettes with him

Matt sighed and tossed the controller on the floor, where was Mello already? He should have called him hours ago, when this game hadn't been boring. By now it was old and he'd already beaten it. He stood and raised his arms above his head in a drawn out stretch. His back popped a few times and he yawned glancing over at the clock. "Only 11:30? How strange I could've sworn it was much lat-" A knock at the door interrupted him mid-statement and he grumbled before thinking that it could be Mello. Speeding up a little he unlocked the door, leaving the chain across, and opened the door a crack. "Mels? That you?" He said in a voice barely over a whisper. "Yea and its cold, let me in Matt." Matt smiled, he had missed that.

Sample Role Play: As luna looked at the sky from her window on the top room of the motel. She wanted to live close to matt but she knew he would never let her. Matt never liked luna and always ignored her as much as possible. It did not hurt her feelings but she knew after her last boyfriend mike died she has never been the same. Luna ran away from the orphanage a year before she meet mike so no one from her past has meet him. She knew it was a risk moving to japan. But her goal was to find kira and ask him what mike did wrong.
Luna was not as smart as everyone elts but knew was street smart like mello. The one person she does not like. "God he pisses me off." Luna said as she kept looking at the moon sighting.

History: In another universe, L (or in this case, Elias) had never been orphaned and grew up in Winchester to raise a family and work with Interpol. Lucy is one of his twin children, Lear being her fraternal twin brother. Their mother is an attorney named Xenia whom Elias has met while working on one of his cases.

On Lucy's way to work with one of her friends, she caught the interest of a an upper-rank Shinigami who noticed she shared the name of the original L. He decided that it would be fun to stir up even more chaos in the universe that is under Kira's threat, and transported her into it.

Now Lucy is trying desperately to find any means of returning back home, and meeting an adolescent, self-righteous megalomaniac, as well as an agoraphobic version of her father, isn't likely to improve the situation.

Sample Role Play: "Come on! Work, you bloody piece of rubbish!" Lucy growled at her cellphone, before proceeding to bash it against the concrete wall in front of her, ignoring the weird looks that she was given by passer-by's on the sidewalk. This was her only form of proof that she had somehow been displaced from Winchester to Tokyo in a mere flash. She could not by any means lose it.

She stopped hitting the wall, and looked back at the screen: it was still fuzzy, and the display was deteriorating before finally going black.

"Bloody hell!!" she yelled mournfully at the sky, then hopelessly collapsed against the same wall with a pitiful moan.
